2018 MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP

This is a great opportunity to experience Volleyball camp with the Red Raiders! The Middle School Camp is for athletes entering the 6th through 8th grade, and is designed for everyone, from year round players to those just starting out. All campers will be evaluated and placed with other players of similar age and ability. All basic volleyball skills will be covered, as well as team drills and competitive games which gives players an opportunity to play in 6 on 6 games in a team environment as well as work on personal skills. Campers will also receive a Texas Tech Volleyball Camp T-shirt.

 JULY 11TH - 13TH
 Girls Entering Grades: 6th - 8th
 Check-In: 1:00pm - 2:00pm, July 11th
 Check-Out: 5:00pm, July 13th
 Overnight: $370
 Commuter: $300
 Day Camper: $175

Day campers can attend from 1pm - 5pm on July 11th and 9am - 5pm on July 12th & 13th.

Initial check-in will be July 11th at the Chitwood/Weymouth Residence Hall.

Campers will need to check into the camp on July 12th & 13th at the United Super Markets Arena, NOT AT THE DORMS.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Texas Tech Volleyball Camp participants will be under the SUPERVISION of program personnel at all times.
  • Students are expected to participate in all planned activities.
  • Personal cell phones may only be turned on and used during free time.

WHAT TO BRING FOR OVERNIGHT CAMP

  • You Must Bring Pillow, Blanket, Linens, Towels, etc.
  • WORKOUT CLOTHES: Shorts, T-Shirts, Socks & Tennis Shoes, Kneepads
  • An Extra Pair of Shoes to Wear to the Gym - Flip Flops / Slides
  • Any Extra Clothes You Feel You Might Need - Casual
  • Swim Suit
  • Toiletries
  • A Little Extra Spending Money For Snacks & Camp Store Items
  • Alarm Clock

HOUSING INFORMATION
All participants will be housed in dorms located on the Texas Tech University Campus. Only two campers are allowed per room and dorm counselors will reside near the participants and each counselor will be responsible for approximately 15 participants.

  • ROOMMATE PREFERENCE: Both roommates must request each other within the registration form to be roomed together.

REFUNDS
Campers who must cancel their registration prior to June 1st will receive a 90% refund.  Cancellations between June 1-June 30, will receive a 75% refund.  Cancellations on or after July 1st will not be refunded.  Cancellation notices and refund requests must be made directly to Tony Graystone at tony.graystone@ttu.edu.

LOST KEYS
Campers will be responsible for their own keys and meal card. Cost of replacement keys and meal cards will be billed to the campers.

CAMP STORE
A camp store will be open at registration and at various times throughout the week. Campers will be able to purchase Texas Tech Camp items and snacks.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
Contact the coaching staff for more information on airport transportation.

PARKING REGISTRATION
